Styling guidelines are not just for women! Here are some tips for men in terms of your proportions with regards to your leg length to torso length.

For those with a balanced torso length to leg length:
Can tuck in or wear tops hanging loose;
If you are under 5ft 6 in (1.68m), avoid wide trousers;
If you are over 6 ft (1.83m), avoid very slim fit trousers.

For those with a short body and long legs:
Need to lower the appearance of your waistline by wearing tops and shirts untucked;
Opt for wider legged trousers;
Wear turn up trousers.

For those with a long body and short legs:
Heighten waistline by tucking in shirt;
Go for slim line trousers;
Avoid turn up cuffs unless you are over 6 ft (1.83m);
Avoid long jackets;
Wear shoes in the same colour as your trousers to make the leg appear longer if under 5 ft 6 in (1.68m).

These simple trouser and shirt tips will help create a balanced look.
